We know from history, theory and valuable experiences that the colonialists’ reaching out for a handshake can turn into a slap at any moment. This is what we are experiencing now. The hand extended for a handshake is now landing as a trustee slap on the will of the Kurdish people by the colonialist fascist state.
At the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on October 1, fascist MHP (Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi – Nationalist Movement Party) leader Bahçeli went to the DEM Party (Kr. Partiya Wekhevî û Demokrasiya Gelan, Tr. Halkların Eşitlik ve Demokrasi Partisi – Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party) benches and shook hands with the group leadership. In a statement to the press in the TBMM (Tr. Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi – Grand National Assembly of Turkey) he said, “While we want peace in the world, we need to ensure peace in our country” and talked about “strengthening the internal front”. The aim of this poisonous handshake was to create the perception of a debate and process management. As a matter of fact, when this goal was achieved, the racist Bahçeli took the second colonialist psychological warfare step on behalf of the regime. On October 22nd, at the MHP group meeting, he made a call that further created a tense atmosphere and strengthened the perception management of the process.
In the said group speech, the MHP leader, who is the sidekick of the political Islamist fascist president, a partner of Erdoğans regime and one of the highest political spokespersons of the counterinsurgency, proposed that Öcalan (Abdullah Öcalan, founder of the illegal Kurdish party PKK) should come to parliament, speak at the DEM Party and call on his organization to lay down its arms. With the crudest Turkish racism and colonialist arrogance, Bahçeli made the dishonorable offer to Öcalan to benefit from the ‘right of hope’ in exchange for surrender and liquidation of the PKK (Kr. Partiya Karkerên Kurdistanê – Kurdish Workers Party). With this despicable fascist demagogic rhetoric, he activated a new psychological warfare process. In order to make the promise effective and credible, the Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan, who had been kept in absolute isolation for 44 months, was allowed to meet with DEM Party deputy Ömer Öcalan. In this process, a sacrifice unit from the HPG (Kr. Hêzên Parastina Gel – People’s Defense Forces) Immortals Battalion hit TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries) in Ankara. The palace regime, on the other hand, first attacked Esenyurt (Municipality of Istanbul) and then on November 4, Batman (kr. Êlih), Mardin (kr. Mêrdîn) and Halfeti (kr. Xelfetî) municipalities in Bakurê Kurdistan with a trustee coup.
Bahçeli continued this discourse of surrender and liquidation in his group meeting on November 5. By saying “I stand behind my words”, he revealed the character of the new attack concept that Turkish colonialism will continue against the Kurdish people throughout the process. Thus, the new stage of the fascist regime’s collapse strategy was concretized. Slapping while shaking hands…
To update and continue the failed collapse strategy in new forms.
So what is it that makes Bahçeli, the nationalist fascist responsible for the colonialist war and enemy of the people, speak like this? On behalf of whom and for what purpose does Bahçeli act and speak, and what is his aim? Producing a meaningful answer to these questions is the first condition for clarifying the direction and horizon of developments through revolutionary analysis. From this
point of view; first of all, we must never forget and see that there is a reality of colonial war that we are experiencing, we must consider it as the dominant ground and main parameter of all political analysis.
The colonial occupation war is currently raging relentlessly in Başûrê Kurdistan, in the Medya Defense Areas (MDA). The collapse strategy of the racist Turkish colonialism is still in effect. Genocidal war attacks on Rojava continue unabated. The fascist colonialist Turkish bourgeois state is waiting for a new occupation war, waiting for favorable regional conditions and the possibility of international support and alliance. It is waiting for an opportunity. Erdoğans fascist regime is walking in a political direction that takes into account the results of the US presidential elections and Zionist Israel’s new regional war movement.
There is no doubt that the main reason why Devlet Bahçeli is talking today is the reality of war. It is the Kurdish people’s will for national freedom that cannot be surrendered and suppressed. In other words, it is the new limit to which the collapse strategy of denialist colonialism has reached. In this sense, the TAI action, which tore the curtain of lies of Bahçeli’s false speeches of peace and brotherhood, showed and reminded the Turkish people of the ongoing relentless war between the colonial fascist regime and the Kurdish freedom movement in all its dimensions. At the same time, the action acted as an acid that faded the awareness of dialog and negotiation and made the phenomenon of war transparent.
Today, fascist Bahçeli is speaking two truths and is pushing Turkish colonialism to look for new forms of attack and war. In this context, it is necessary to address and comprehend the process with two main parameters. First, the Kurdish nation and the Kurdish freedom movement, which is the revolutionary vanguard in the region, cannot be defeated with the collapse strategy. The fascist Turkish colonialism, backed by the power of the USA, NATO and Israel, has been hitting the Medya Defense Areas with all methods of warfare and dropping chemical bombs for nine years without interruption. It has been bombing Şingal, Mexmûr and Slemanî, and assassinating the cadres of the national democratic struggle with drones and UCAVs. It continues the same genocidal war concept in Rojava.
The Turkish bourgeois state, led by the political Islamist fascist chief regime, is unable to achieve the absolute goals it wants in the war it has been waging uninterruptedly for nine years. It is using all its available power to destroy the popularist revolutionary power in Rojava, but it fails. It is trying every means to liquidate the Kurdish revolutionary leadership and fighting force in the MDA, but it cannot achieve its goal. It is trying with all its might to eliminate the democratic popularist government in Sinjar, to dismantle the Mexmûr camp, to limit the freedom movement in Başûrê Kurdistan, taking the collaborator KDP and the Iraqi government with it, but again it cannot prevail. It wants to break the Kurdish people’s will for freedom in Başûrê Kurdistan and surrender them with an opressed peace, but it cannot overcome the organized and indomitable will of the Kurdish people. It is knocking on the door of Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the Kurdish people, whom it keeps under absolute isolation torture on the island of İmralı. In desperation, he dreams of surrender and liquidation. It can attempt to liquidate the revolutionary gains of the Kurdish people through the Kurdish people’s leader, whom it has held hostage in isolation for a quarter of a century.
The second fundamental parameter that makes the Bahçeli fascist speak, is the reality of the regional war that the Zionist and imperialist bloc is waging in the region. It is no secret that the regionalized war will target Iran after Lebanon. The repetition of a process such as Başûrê Kurdistan, which was formed during Gulf war, in Iran this time and the disintegration of Iran is keeping the colonialist Turkish state awake at night. It is precisely this regional war dynamic that forms the background of Bahçeli’s calls for consolidation of the home front and Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood. The colonialist Turkish ruling classes, who seem to grasp the possibility of an Iran- Israel war or an invasion of Iran by the Zionist and imperialist coalition as an imminent danger, act with the strategy of keeping the Kurdish dynamics and focuses on the region under their patronage and as a backup. The Turkish colonialism, which will inevitably side with NATO, the US, the EU and Zionist Israel in a possible war of invasion of Iran, is also constructing the conditions for the continuation of its colonial relationship with the Kurdish nation.
Strengthening the internal front is a manipulative discourse formulated to meet the current political needs of the fascist palace regime. This discourse makes the Turkish colonialism look like it is fighting against an imperialist power abroad. However, the denialist Turkish colonialism is only fighting against the Kurdish nation and the freedom movement inside and outside. From the MSA occupation war in Başûrê Kurdistan to Şingal, from Rojava to the trustee coups in Bakurê Kurdistan, there is only one front. The oppressed Kurdish people and the denialist colonialist Turkish bourgeois state. All the discourses of the Bahçeli fascist also realize the politics of guaranteeing and maintaining the ruling position of the AKP-MHP fascist bloc (coalition of the two fascist turkish parties „Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi“ and „Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi“).
In the past local elections, the picture created by the CHP-DEM Party reconciliation and the tacit blocization dramatically revealed the decline of the AKP-MHP fascist bloc and created a new situation. Bahçeli intervenes in the regressing situation of the AKP-MHP fascist bloc with this false Kurdish opening discourse. He wants to split the Kurdish movement and consolidate it as the AKP (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi: Party for Justice and Development, political islamist Party of Turkey, Party of gouverning coalition) base again. As a matter of fact, a rabbit came out of the hat. Bahçeli has tied the political influence he created with the talk of Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood to the re- election of fascist chief Erdogan. The widespread, mass, militant resistance against the trustee coups, which turned into Serhildans (rebellion; uprising), tells us that our peoples are ready for struggle against the new attack concept of the collapse strategy. It is the revolutionary task of the day to raise united popular resistances against the trustees.
